Those who like good home-style food can indulge their taste buds here. I can only warmly recommend the grill plate with fries and the hearty beer sauce. The location offers everything you would expect from a visit to a brewery restaurant. I will be happy to come back here again.

Really nice food, and a lot to see in neighbourhood

A very typical, spacious brewery restaurant with appropriate, hearty food and friendly and careful service. Part of the company "Zwiefalter Klosterbräu". Drinks and food not only come quickly at the beginning, but later the waiters also take a look over to see if there is anything to do. ½ l black or wheat beer for € 3.50. I didn't even know beforehand that Zwiefalter also brewed cellar-cloudy exports. There is ample choice of drinks, even wines. Very tasty large pumpkin cream soup with icing for € 6.90. The trout with almonds fried in butter is very large, and not too butter on it. A poem! With parsley potatoes; the whole for € 19.50. The colorful salad plate as a side dish is large, but at € 4.90 too expensive. I can also highly recommend the roast venison with spaetzle and cranberry-peach for € 18.50, delicious, if just too big. Espresso is the way it should be and costs € 2.20. Gladly again! Very badly damaged in 1989 by a short circuit with a large fire. Therefore everything inside is “fairly new” from the 1990s, with a reasonable brewery-pub style value being preserved. I gave the 5 stars appropriate to the style: No haute cuisine but a hearty brewery restaurant with clever food and attentive staff at acceptable prices.

Cola wheat was the worst thing I've ever drunk. Have eaten much better for less money. Cream schnitzel with spaetzle. Spaetzle were differently warm, overall lukewarm. Schnitzel was seared carelessly and partly tough. Cream sauce was okay, but could have been warmer. There will be no further visits to dinner.

Delicious food, we had the plate for two and were both more than full. Price for it set a bit high but manageable, the price-performance ratio is okay. There is a large selection of beers that everyone should get their money's worth.

Deserved 5 stars. The food is so good there. The staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long to eat.

Food was good and plentiful. Staff quite inattentive, the boss first had to point out to the waitress that we had been sitting for 5 minutes without even getting a card. After the meal there was no longer any interest in us. I asked for the card again, but then nobody came to order.

Super service the boss loves the service and customer contact. Man felt right at home and we had a lot of fun. We were two families of 8 people. Food perfectly matched waiting time.

Watery tripe, no fried potatoes, heated mineral water, sloppy salad, moody service because no tip was given because of it. A waiver of payment would have been appropriate. Has been significantly better in the past. Sorry

Everything was great. It was busy and therefore everything took a little longer. Only one flaw ... pork loin steaks were served with a thick and plump roux. Otherwise everything was very tasty

Hospitality, service and food were all just great. Delicious, tasty and responsive to all the extras. So you can just let yourself dangle. Really worth a detour or excursion. TOP

Passable Brauwirtschaft

wanted to eat delicious spontaneously and that's what we got here. The friendly staff offered us a table outside even though it was quite full. From ordering to paying, everything was very pleasant. The food was delicious, the waiting time was okay and we were very satisfied. Sometimes I can't understand the bad criticism, although it can happen that something can go wrong with a "full house" - well, you have to have that much tolerance and don't want to get rid of the frustration on Google right away. We will definitely stop by again ...

Hospitality ... looks different. Waited 10 minutes in an empty restaurant today, no one came, no interest? 🤔 We left again.

The food was super delicious and the staff very nice and child-friendly. For me personally it is a very nice restaurant, there is a toilet with changing table, which is a big +. We would love to come back.
